 It is amazing that, no matter how many times you read the Bible, it always provides something new. The same verse can be read multiple times and still provide new lessons and insights. A newly discovered perspective on a verse can carry you through the toughest day if allowed to soak in. Staying in God’s word will result in a continuous renewing of the mind. Listening to music is often the same way. The same song can be heard many times and suddenly something can touch a soul deep within. There will be days that seem unbearable in our lives. There will be moments and events that come that are not possible to understand on this earth. No matter how tough the journey is, don’t stop reading God’s word and listening. If you keep pressing you will feel renewed, comforted, and more peace each day. Some days will be tougher than others but joy will come. Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 2nd Corinthians 4:16-17 For the word of God is alive and active.
