We have exciting news and need your help!
First of all, thank you to all who have supported and given during 2025!
So far, what you may know of Balance Ministries is what you have seen through posts on Facebook and our website. We have attempted to share encouraging words with a touch of humor and inspirational graphics. Our ultimate goal has always been to grow the ministry by increasing our support to individuals and families affected by chronic illnesses. Balance Ministries was founded through a mutual burden to use our personal experiences, talents, and gifts to help others in similar battles.
Our goals for 2026 are rooted in our desire to reflect Christ’s love in practical and meaningful ways. We will continue providing financial support for medical travel to individuals and families walking through difficult seasons. We also plan to grow a stronger network of prayer partners, support systems, and referral sources so this ministry can reach even more people in the name of Jesus.
We remain committed to offering monthly grief support at Valley View Freewill Baptist Church. Our grief group meets on the first Tuesday of each month and welcomes anyone experiencing grief or loss—including the quiet, everyday “living losses” that weigh heavily on the heart. Our prayer is that each person who attends will encounter comfort, community, and the hope found in Christ.
In 2020, Balance Ministries received 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. All donations are tax-deductible and directly support our gift card ministry, providing gas, food, and lodging assistance for families traveling for medical care. Serious illnesses—such as cancer—often require people to leave their communities or even their home state, adding financial strain to an already challenging journey. Through your generosity, we can help lighten that burden and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Balance Ministries was founded after previously serving in a similar capacity through the William Carroll Memorial Fund. We are grateful for every opportunity to serve, uplift, and share Christ’s love with those in need.

Balance Ministries was founded on faith that God would order steps and impart vision according to His plan.
Our Vision is to assist those in need who are struggling with chronic illnesses such as cancer. We will be offering support groups, individual counseling in person and via telehealth for patients and their families. We will also be rolling out a gift card ministry and offering financial assistance to those needing to travel as a result of chronic illnesses.
